Abstract

Character education was one of the focuses in the system of national education. Therefore, educators must not neglect this. A school counselor, as one of the educators, has to play a role in character education. Referring to guidance and counseling responsibilities in relation to students’ personal, social, academic, and career aspects, a school counselor must not escape from the main duties. Considering that character education is the responsibility of all parties, a school counselor can, independently and in collaboration with all school components, play a role in character education. Individually, a school counselor can provide services, such as individual services, individual planning services, and responsive services. In collaboration with other parties, a school counselor can make a synergy in character education programs

Abstract

Various forms of crime and immoral acts in the handling of children and adolescents show that our students have not a good character. This indicates the need for character education that is appropriate for the child, which is not just knowledge and doctrine but rather reaches the emotional area. In the process of forming qualified human beings, character education is necessary for people not only to know virtue (knowing the good) but also feel (feeling the good), love (loving the good), want (desiring the good) and doing good (acting the good).

Abstract

This research aims to review the role of counseling toward the development of qamil people. This research will review and understand western caucus perspectives on human research functions on earth based on freud and rogrs theory. The problem is why human life on earth is causing problems especially from the spiritual aspect even though it has often received counseling therapy. Diseases associated with mental disorders such as new rosis, Emotional instability, stress, mental disorders and their compatriots are evidence of a persons need for counseling. The formation of a model that strives for the overall development of the workforce is expected to be practiced to care for clients facing personal problems, the families of the community. This model is expected to become a martial-client mechanism to deal with every problem not only from the spiritual aspect, even form a healthy human, motivated, confident and willing to face all the problems and challenges in human life in the future.

Abstract

Students in RI Government regulation No.30 of 1990 are registered learners and study in certain universities. Students are a group in a society that obtains its status because of ties with college. In male student variable, 160 respondents (64%) have constructive coping mechanism and 90 respondents (36%) have destructive coping mechanism. In the female variable, 200 respondents (80%) have constructive coping mechanism and 50 respondents (20%) have destructive coping mechanism. The result of Bivariate analysis using Chi Square obtained χ² count = 0,893 dan χ² table = 3,488. This means there is no difference in coping mechanism between male and female students in facing the odd semester exam of academic year 2010/2011 at Faculty of Tarbiyah IAIN Raden Intan Lampung.

Abstract

Penyakit jiwa yang dialami oleh 96 orang antara 12.392 jiwa di Kecamatan Bubulak, Bogor Barat. Pada saat bersamaan, pengetahuan dan kemampuan keluarga tidak berjalan baik, pelayanan untuk program kesehatan psikologi oleh Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat tidak berjalan dengan baik, dan Kelompok Pendukung Keluarga tidak ada. Judul penelitian ini adalah Pengaruh Kelompok Keluarga Pendukung terhadap Kemampuan Keluarga dalam Merawat Klien dengan Penyakit Jiwa di Kabupaten Bubulak, Bogor Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran menyeluruh tentang pengaruh Kelompok Pendukung Keluarga terhadap kemampuan keluarga dalam merawat klien dengan penyakit jiwa. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan uji coba pre-post kuasi eksperimental dengan kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan intervensi Kelompok Pendukung Keluarga. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan cluster satu tahap dan terdiri dari 74 keluarga dengan penyakit jiwa klien. Kelompok ini dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok sebagai berikut: Kelompok I (Perawatan kelompok keluarga pendukung, 4 kali pertemuan terdiri dari 2 minggu) dan Kelompok II (tanpa Kelompok Pendukung Keluarga). Kemampuan kognitif keluarga, kemampuan afektif, dan kemampuan psikomotor dinilai dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan kemudian hasil kuesioner dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode dependent-t test, independent t-test, Chi-Square, dan Simple Linear Reggresion. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan kognitif keluarga, kemampuan afektif, dan kemampuan psikomotor dalam merawat klien dengan penyakit jiwa. Kemampuan kelompok yang ditangani oleh Kelompok Pendukung Keluarga meningkat secara signifikan dan signifikan dibandingkan kelompok tanpa Kelompok Pendukung Keluarga. Dianjurkan untuk membentuk dan untuk melakukan Kelompok Pendukung Keluarga kepada keluarga yang memiliki klien dengan penyakit jiwa di masyarakat.

Abstract

One effort that can be done is to prepare the cognitive intelligence and emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is more aimed at the effort to recognize, understand and manifest emotions in the right portion and the effort to manage emotions in order to be controlled so that can be utilized to solve various problems faced later. Through IQ people can face the real world, but the individual needs emotions in order to understand and confront himself and ultimately be able to face others, so important we build emotional intelligence of children for future preparation. By having an emotional intelligence someone will better understand and appreciate feelings on self and others and can apply it effectively in everyday life.
